This week marked an exciting milestone for Platform-ZERO, with two back-to-back outreach events organised by our partner Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO) in Seville, Spain. From high school students discovering cutting-edge research to international experts in technology and innovation.

Engaging future generations at UPO Open Day
On 19 March, Platform-ZERO was presented during the Jornadas de Puertas Abiertas – La Olavide eres tú, a university open day welcoming high school students to UPO’s laboratories. This initiative offered a unique opportunity to introduce younger audiences to cutting-edge research activities, raise awareness about sustainable innovation, and showcase Platform-ZERO’s objectives and impact.

Spotlighting Platform-ZERO at CTx Tech 2026
On 20 March, Platform-ZERO was featured at CTx Tech 2026, an international event gathering experts in technology and innovation. UPO representatives took the stage to present their research group’s activities, promote Platform-ZERO to an international audience, and strengthen the project’s visibility within the broader innovation ecosystem.

These two events were great opportunities for Platform-ZERO. Reaching tomorrow’s decision-makers at the open day, and connecting with international experts at CTx Tech 2026. Valuable exchanges and great encounters contribute to the project’s growth and expand its network.
A big thank you to Paul Pistor and the entire team at Universidad Pablo de Olavide for representing and championing Platform-ZERO !
