The Catalonia Energy Research Institute for Energy Research (IREC), coordinator of the Platform-ZERO project, is currently seeking candidates to apply for prestigious Catalan Government–funded research fellowships to be hosted within its Solar Energy Materials and Systems (SEMS) Department.
These opportunities are open to excellent early-career researchers interested in advancing cutting-edge research in photovoltaic and optoelectronic materials and systems, spanning the full R&D chain from fundamental science to prototype validation (TRL 1–7).

The SEMS department conducts interdisciplinary research combining materials synthesis and fabrication, advanced characterisation, scientific instrumentation, robotic platforms, and artificial intelligence to accelerate the development of sustainable energy technologies.
