Meet Platform-ZERO at Manufacturing Partnership Days 2026

Platform-ZERO will be represented at the Manufacturing Partnership Days 2026, taking place on 17–18 November in Brussels, Belgium. The event, organised by the European Factories of the Future Research Association (EFFRA), will bring together Europe’s manufacturing research and innovation community to exchange knowledge, showcase project results and foster new collaborations.

Our project partner Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO), represented by Renan Escalante, will attend the event as part of the 4ZDM (Zero-Defect Manufacturing) Cluster, which will have a dedicated exhibition booth.

Through its participation in the 4ZDM Cluster, Platform-ZERO contributes to a wider European effort to advance zero-defect manufacturing approaches, bringing together projects working on innovative technologies, intelligent process monitoring, quality control and data-driven manufacturing.

Platform-ZERO addresses these challenges specifically in the photovoltaic industry. The project is developing an innovative, modular in-line process monitoring and control platform combining advanced optical sensors, high-speed data acquisition and artificial intelligence. Its ambition is to enable early detection and prevention of production defects, reduce manufacturing waste and improve the quality and competitiveness of Europe’s photovoltaic industry.

This new edition of the Manufacturing Partnership Days will once again provide an excellent opportunity to connect with other European projects, industrial stakeholders, researchers and policymakers, while raising awareness of Platform-ZERO’s objectives and technological developments.

Meet the 4ZDM Cluster at the event!

If you are attending the Manufacturing Partnership Days, don’t hesitate to visit the 4ZDM Cluster booth and connect with our partner UPO to learn more about Platform-ZERO and the latest developments in zero-defect manufacturing.
